Roche & Bugle

About Me

Picture
I've chosen to put myself forward as the prospective Labour Candidate for Roche & Bugle Division as I am fully committed to this relatively new area that I have chosen to live with my family.

I've always been a Labour supporter because of the core values of social and economic improvement, fairness, progression, equality, tolerance and unity.
Previously, around the general elections, I put a lot of time in with leaflets & other activities.

We bought a house in Bugle about 2 years ago and relocated from the Midlands just over a year ago after I had renovated the property for us to live in. My profession is in the construction industry, and this is the first time I've ever put myself forward for any position like this.

In the construction industry I'm used to hard work, and although this would be a different kind of work I'm sure I would be able to apply the same principles of working tirelessly to achieve my goals and the goals of the party.

The ward is a great place to live, and I have enjoyed meeting the residents as they've shown a great interest in the renovation if our house and garden. I am interested to continue to learn more about the area and issues in conversations with the local people. We have also been really impressed with the "Bugle Library of Things" in its support of the local community with food and other essentials and as a community hub. I would be very keen to support this in anyway I can.

It would be a massive achievement for the Labour Party to gain a seat in this area and hope with your help we can make this happen. Looking to the future, a strong local community and unity will help us get through the tough times ahead.  If we did win I know I would have a lot to learn, but I feel ready and determined for the challenge and I'm keen to do what I can to help the area in which I live.
