Kevin on Animal Rights:
In the first few days of this election I had an incredible number of approaches both in social media and elsewhere, from people who want to know where I stand on hunting and other animal welfare issues.
Therefore I'm pleased to make clear that I've been a long term opponent of hunting and will vote in parliament to both keep and enforce the hunting act. I'm also keen to ensure that in the Brexit arrangements we must ensure that we don't lose any of the important animal welfare provisions, that are currently enshrined in EU laws.
Lastly I'd also like to add that I'm also opposed to badger culling and when elected will call for these to cease.
Please contact me directly if there are any areas you want to clarify.
